We are a small family company based on Waiheke Island…
Being in such a fabulous location allows us to work on a variety of projects as well as the usual everyday plumbing and gasfitting work.

Our Community Matters
It’s a growing and changing landscape and as Waiheke plumbers and Gas Fitters, we get to work on all sorts of projects from New Build Houses – through to assisting existing customer’s with all of their plumbing and gas needs – and everything in-between including commercial plumbing!
Heading the team is Lance Crosland, who has over 40 years experience as a plumber and gas fitter. Lance is originally from Wellington where he did his apprenticeship and set up his own business in 1998 as Crosland Plumbing & Gas. After having two children, a lifestyle choice was made to relocate to Waiheke Island in 2001. The business was re-branded into Tui Plumbing & Gas in 2014.
Our team and Lance also believe in being involved in the community. He served 15 years with Waiheke Coastguard, working his way up to Skipper, President and Trustee positions. However, with the continued growth and demand for his craftsman skills and expertise, he has prioritised Tui.

Waiheke Island is a small community where we look after each other. We love living here on the island and enjoy the lifestyle that it brings. As such we like to play our part in the community by donating and volunteering our skills and experience to community groups, local services and people who we feel, not only deserve it, but who support the lifestyle that we all love.
Here’s a few ways that we like to give back to our community…
Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust
Like many Waiheke Island businesses’, Tui Plumbing and Gas annually donate to the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust. An essential service for Islanders as it provides fast emergency transportation.
Waiheke Health Trust Ultrasound
The Waiheke Health Trust provides Community Based Care to all Waiheke residents. Tui Plumbing and Gas supplied and installed plumbing for the new Ultrasound room.
Waiheke Spirit Charitable Trust
Waiheke Spirit Children’s Charitable Trust provides support to island based families. We are delighted to support them with the supply and installation of plumbing and fixtures for ‘The Cottage’.
